Salman Khan today unveiled music album ‘Raunaq’ which is a collaboration between Union minister Kapil Sibal and AR Rahman.
Rahman has composed the music to songs that have been penned by Sibal.
Salman was at his cheeky best at the event.
Addressing the press, Salman said, “It is a great pleasure to be here for this launch. The songs are nice. I think Kapil sir is a great lyricist". He then added, "You all know what an average artist Rahman is”.
As per people present at the venue, Rahman did not look quite happy with the jibe.
It may be recalled that AR Rahman and his lawyers had earlier issued a legal notice to Salman and his brother Sohail Khan for using 'Jai Ho' as their movie title. Rahman's team claimed that the music maestro holds the rights to that title due to the popular song he has composed for the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. The issue was later resolved and Salman and Sohail ended up using 'Jai Ho' as their movie name'.
