Alia has been receiving a lot of praise for her performance in Highway. Added to her long list of admirers are Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. Both of them turned to Twitter to express their appreciation.
"Milestones -Nargis in Mother India Meena kumari in saheb bibi.. Nutan in BANDANI Shabana in Arth and now Alia Bhatt in Highway." tweeted Javed. He compared Alia to the best of actresses Bollywood has ever seen! Now that's a compliment she would cherish all her life!
Similarly, even Shabana Azmi tweeted saying, "Alia Bhatt is such a mix of vulnerability n insouciance she tears at your heart in Highway. Randeep not a false note.Imtiaz Ali take a bow".
Alia must be on cloud nine after receiving so much love and acclamation at such a young age! Well, she deserves it!
