The Kareena Kapoor - Imran Khan starrer Gori Tere Pyar Mein opened to a very poor business, as reported by trade analysts.
The daily weekend breakdown of the film is as follows: Friday 2,50,00,000, Saturday 3,00,00,000 and Sunday 3,25,00,000 garnering a total of 8,75,00,000.
Apparently, the film did not even work well in its intended market, which is the multiplexes.
Interestingly, the other release of the week 'Singh Saab the Great' drew in a better collection of over Rs. 18.5 crores over the weekend (6+5.5+7). The film fared well mainly in East Punjab.
Analysts are keeping a keen eye on the figures over the coming days, though the chances of GTPM picking up don't seem too bright for now. Predictions are that Singh Saab the Great, won't go too far either, though may continue to fare better than GTPM.
