Grand Masti sure did receive a 'grand' opening. Going by the statistics, the movie has found its place among the top 5 openers of the year making 12.5 crore on the opening day itself.
Grand Masti has become the fourth highest opener of 2013 after Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2.
"GrandMasti *early trends* suggest 12.5 cr start on Friday... A grand start indeed... Expecting weekend to be in 37 cr to 40 cr range," tweets Taran Adarsh.
The movie is expected to make around 40 crore in the weekend.
Grand Masti is a sequel to 2004 film Masti. It features Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani in lead roles.
