Imran Khan speaks to DNA about the failure of 'OAUTIMD'.
He starts by saying that the film was unfairly criticized. He says, " It wasn’t a bad film by any stretch of the imagination. There are far worse films which get away with a lot more".
When asked if he was miscast as Aslam because he looked too young, he says, "In fact, as far as I have seen, I am the only person who hasn’t come under fire who didn’t get any criticism from critics or audiences. Nobody has said anything about me. They have taken Akshay apart. Milan got a lot of flak, which I think is unfair. Rajat (Arora), the dialogue writer, also took a lot of flak which also is unfair because when you see the film in the single screen they are cheering and clapping for those dialogues."
Well, Imran does not seem to be one of those over-ambitious B-town youngsters that will settle for nothing but the best. It appears that 'not receiving flak' is good enough for this cute little nephew of the perfectionist Aamir Khan. How do you think this lad will survive in Big Bad Bollywood?
